Founding installer program
Founding pricing is limited to the first 25–50 installers who claim a license-verified profile: Featured-tier placement billed at the Verified price, $99/mo, locked for 12 months from signup. After 12 months it rolls to standard Featured pricing ($249/mo) unless you downgrade — that's disclosed here up front, not sprung on anyone later. Your profile has to be claimed and license-verified to qualify.

How placement works
Default city-page results are listed alphabetically among license-verified listings — never reordered by who's paying. Payment can never buy, skip, or influence license verification, inclusion in the directory, or that default order. Featured and Verified badges are visual distinctions on a listing's own card, not a change to where it sits in the list. Any future paid placement beyond that will always be labeled "Sponsored" and shown separately from the default results, never invented as a hidden ranking formula or presented as an editorial recommendation.
Frequently asked questions
- Does payment affect license verification?
- No. License verification is a fact about a real government license, checked against the state licensing board. It's confirmed the same way for every listing, free or paid, and payment can never buy, expedite, or substitute for it.
- Are sponsored placements labeled?
- Yes. If LumoWatt ever introduces paid placement beyond the badges described above, it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" and shown separately from the default, license-verified results — never mixed in or disguised as an organic ranking.
- When can an installer receive homeowner leads?
- After claiming your profile and adding (and verifying) a notification email. Until then, leads submitted for your business are still recorded, but there's no way for LumoWatt to automatically get them to you.
- Can an installer cancel?
- Yes. There's no long-term contract — email us and we'll cancel a paid tier, no cancellation fee.
- What is a qualified lead?
- A homeowner who submits a request through LumoWatt for a specific generator project. It means real, expressed interest — it does not guarantee a quote, a booked job, or that the homeowner will respond.
