Listing standards

Every listing on LumoWatt must meet the following before it goes live:

• Valid, checkable electrical contractor license in the state(s) you operate in
• A real, specific business description — not boilerplate copy-pasted across listings
• A working phone number or email for customer contact
• A defined service area (specific cities/counties, not just "statewide")
• At least one verifiable year of business operation

Listings are reviewed manually before publication; most submissions are reviewed within 5 business days. We re-verify license status annually, or immediately if we receive a correction request.
