LumoWatt is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or owned by any generator manufacturer. Brand comparison content (see /compare) is written from publicly available manufacturer specifications and is not influenced by advertising relationships.

How the city installer lists work

Installers are listed alphabetically, not ranked by quality, we don't have data we'd trust to rank on. The only requirement to appear is a checked state electrical license. We do not accept payment in exchange for placement. LumoWatt does not sell ranking. If paid placement is introduced, it will be clearly labeled and will not change the standard list order.

Fact-checking and updates

Cost and specification data is reviewed at least annually, or immediately after a manufacturer model-year update. Content involving electrical safety or permitting requirements receives a technical accuracy review before publication.

If you find an error, use our corrections form. We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 5 business days.
